Gamine has a rich history of over 25 years banging out some of the best hair in LA! Gamine is synonymous with fantastic hair and phenomenal customer service. In 2016, Jennifer Cunningham was handed the baton from founder and acclaimed haircutter, Julie Rosenberg. Jennifer brings her fresh perspective and deep love of the beauty industry revitalizing the Gamine legacy.

Although our name reflects the feminine, we strive to make a safe, gender neutral space where all are welcome and our skill set is applied to each individual’s vision for their hair. We touch areas of green beauty, searching for the best, highest performing products, not only to compliment clean beauty routines but to also support our client’s artistic self-expression. Meet Jennifer
Love of style and fashion runs through this life long beauty junkie’s blood. Knowing at age 5 she was destined for a career as a freelance hair and make-up artist she began her education at only 17 years old. She trained extensively at Vidal Sassoon before her dedicating herself to the art of hairdressing and fashion makeup. Growing up, the salon was her favorite place to be! Loving the creative independent spirit of the beauty world, in this work she found her tribe. Naturally, salon ownership was also a life long dream. Building a strong culture with a deep heart for service attractive to the brightest new talent and the most developed badass’s in the biz has become as deep a passion for Jennifer as beauty and fashion itself
